Citrus Berry Tea
Maybe you are drinking a breakfast smoothie for weight loss. A smoothie for breakfast is fast quick and easy, but we all look to mix it up every now and then. Think about the rise of the smoothie bowl, right?
You can skip the traditional smoothie for breakfast and treat yourself to something more unique and very refreshing. This unique morning tea will replace any smoothie with spinach already on your menu.
This citrus berry tea is just as simple as any smoothie easy recipe you already own. Using fresh fruit over frozen brings this tea a step above any smoothie with frozen fruit. Come and get it. You deserve it!
The citrus berry tea does not have the same consistency as a smoothie with almond milk. Using cold green tea as a base, you won’t have to question whether or not smoothies are good for you?
This tea has all the same health benefits of a metabolic boost, healthy fat, and deliciousness as your favorite smoothie. The exception is that this tea is a smoothie without milk.
The citrus berry tea comes together in your smoothie blender with cold green tea, seeds, fresh berries, fresh-squeezed citrus, a scoop of healthy greens. Superfast, super easy, and super delicious.
The ingredients I used for my tea are listed below. Use them as a guide to building your own deliciously unique morning tea.
Chia seed is a good source of healthy fat, and you will need to add healthy fat. I also always have a pitcher of cold-brewed green tea in the refrigerator, so adding this was simple.
Treat yourself, sit down, and savor the tea. Serve the tea in a nice tea glass, with a slice of lime, a fresh berry, and a sprinkle of the zest of citrus, for an amazing breakfast pick me up. You work hard, and you deserve to treat yourself.
