With roots dating back to 1814 as a stagecoach and livery business near what would soon be the Erie Canal, Samuel Hildreth built his home.
A decorated series of events, spanning 50 years, would eventually turn the Hildreth homestead into a conglomeration of 3 farms and eventually a nationally recognized dairy and agricultural business.
By the mid-1940s, the farms would come under ownership of the Zornow/Corby family, with the retail part of Pittsford Farms Dairy & Bakery opened in 2012.
Pittsford Farms Dairy & Bakery is still a family-run business, using locally sourced farm fresh milk for dairy and homemade ice cream production.

Fresh ice cream and nice cream is served year-round, with 55 different flavors ranging from the Perfect Storm to Lumberjacked, on a quaint farm that turns into a winter wonderland complete with fire pit fires, resident farm animals, gift shop, and Christmas trees.
Summertime is a whole other experience.
Just off the Erie Canal bike path, Pittsford Farms Dairy & Bakery welcomes families from all over as a tourist attraction when visiting Rochester, NY, or a local favorite hot spot.
