- ¼ tsp fresh grated Ceylon cinnamon stick or 1 stick left to simmer in the milk
- A few turns of the peppermill
Instructions
- Turn the heat to medium on the stovetop.
- Add to a small saucepan, the almond milk, grated turmeric, grated ginger, maple syrup, and cinnamon.
- Over medium heat, whisk until the milk mixture comes to a simmer and small bubbles start to form around the edge.
- Turn off the heat and let the mixture sit for 5 minutes.
- Using a large whisk, whip the warm latte until it froths.
- Using a small strainer, strain the warm latte over the strainer into a teacup.
- Use a frother if you want a nice foamy top on your latte, and gently pour the frothed over the latte.
- Enjoy either warm or cold.
